In 2019 decided to turn our hobby into a career, had a custom trailer built, had several events lined up, and then dealt with the challenges of Covid 19. All the events were canceled and were forced to try and find places to park. After 2 years of ups and downs, 2022 was a breakout year, we landed several nice events and catering opportunities. In September we had a gas leak and lost our trailer. At that time we decided it may be time for a brick-and-mortar. We were blessed to stumble across the Pig Pit in Cohoes and decided to make it our home. Besides the restaurant, we still offer to pick up catering, drop-off catering, on-site catering, corporate catering both drop off or on-site, and BBQ fundraisers to help raise money for fire departments, schools, sporting events, Churches, charities, and any organization in need of raising money, at Millers Backyard BBQ we strive for perfection and customer satisfaction, all of our rubs and sauces are homemade, and all of our sides are homemade. We have a strong following and look forward for the opportunity to continue to grow and appreciate all the support.
